    Thats only in Japan.

    And no, its not cheaper in UK as there's VAT on top, even with the depreciation pound.

    That is the case. At least in my experience from T-Mobile (I think it's called EE now), they charged me 25 quid although it was not mentioned in T&C, I threatened to report them and they clearly did not care. Then when the company was bought over, I couldn't even get a hold of them
