    Residential broadband any difference?

Finally moving to a residential building. Have the option of PCCW, HKBN and HGC all fibre up to 2gpbs.

Is there much difference between the three?

    Also is there much difference between 100M / 500M / 1G / 2G etc connection?

For reference, at present we have HKBN 100M but it's dedicated.

On HKBN Fiber at Home. No connectivity issues – do reboot every few months if things slow to a crawl. At the end of the day, it keeps ticking and keeps me connected.

On HKBN for mobile, although many have said on Geo that their phone connections are slow. For me I’ve never had issues, but my use case for the phone is email/news and random IMs. No photos/videos etc.

ON HGC VDSL (100/100) at Work. Ditto – no issues other than a random reboot every few months. Their QoS may be different for residential connections.
