    < HK$ 2000 Android phone?

Am perfectly happy with my old 2016 A1 ... but looks like it might die - getting random reboots / lockups.

Just need something reliable for email / whatsapp & browsing with 24+ hour battery life.

Does anyone seem to know or have any opinions for something that is readily available in HK, stock android?

Don't need it right away, but do need something I can pick up soonish if my phone dies.

Was holding out for an A4 release - but looks like that is not going to happen.

These are not recommendations, just suggestions for research

Poco X3 NFC or Nokia 5.3? The Poco might be too Chines-skinned, but it has higher specs including a huge battery...

If you can go up a bit more, the OnePlus Nord is pretty good value at HKD3.2k

@pin - nah, don't want feature and price creep. The Nokia thingy that @vmlinuz mentioned sounds perfect - stock android 4G with a decent camera is good enough for me and my wallet.

I bought a Galaxy A20s (had to look it up just now because that's how little I pay attention to phones). Only use it for taking pics (been happy with the quality), Skype, WhatsApp and card games. Checking e-mail and such. For me, light user I guess, the battery seems to last a very long time. I think I paid about 1400 at Smartone because I wanted them to set it up and put all the data from my previous phone on it, too lazy to do it myself. I had dropped my previous cheap phone and cracked the camera lens (the only part not protected by the case) and didn't think it was worth it to fix it but didn't really check it out. I am cheap so I just went in and asked for their cheapest Android. Think it was my second in the "Galaxy" line...

I don't see the point in spending more than 2k on something easily lost, stolen, or broken...unless you really use it for a lot of sophisticated things...

Looks like the lowest one is now the A21 but I think the camera is good, at least takes good hamster pics, my main subject these days...

Subbed for later. Gonna be ditching Huawei once mine dies... which doesn't seem to be very soon. It's got amazing battery life, which I will miss.
