iPhone models for the Hong Kong market do not have the mandatory shutter sound feature when camera is used (Japan and South Korea do as per local law).
The iPhone 14 models available for sale in Hong Kong have two SIM card trays, but no eSIM.
Only the non-US, non-China and non-Hong Kong/Macau versions have a SIM card tray and eSIM. (US version has only eSIM).
You can look at the Apple website (Hong Kong version) for the iPhone 14 specs and scroll to "SIM card".

Thanks, I appreciate your reply.
Not being able to turn off the shutter sound is a deal breaker for me.
iPhone 14PM is ordered. Upgrading from XS Max.

So buy iPhone 14 in HK means no e-sim function at all?
Correct. HK iphone 14 has two physical sim slots, no esim funciton. US iphone 14 has dual esim function and no physical sim slots. Any other country has both esim and one physical sim slot (I picked Australia in the example below). You can see this clearly on the official Apple website, just change the HK or AU part in the URL to the country of your choice (or blank it out for US).
So, my iphonX is dying (battery and slowness) and wife said she'll get me the new one as xmas gift (YAY!)
However, when I checked the apple website it informed me that I can only get the deliver after 6th January, but I need to send my current iphone now to get the exchange discount. Now, how am I supposed to live without a phone for next few weeks!
Besides I need to phone before Xmas
Stupid Apple!!!
