I've always used this location for repairs for iPhones.

Caveat, I'm not sure if it's THIS shop, but it is almost the first one to be seen on the left side of the entrance, and they have given me very satisfactory service at a reasonable co$t.

Not Ap Lui St. There are guys who work on phone innards there with soldering stations, but I would not recommend this area to OP without something much more specific than an entire street that is mostly specialised in other things. I've just spent the last two hours walking up and down that street looking at power tools and and electronics/lighting. This isn't a consumer phone area.

1st floor of wanchai computer Centre has a place. Ditto 188 wanchai road (top floor). 1st floor of Wonder Building, shamshui po has a couple of repair places just at the top of the stairs.

Many repair places scattered around. I would stand next to it and watch what they are doing.

Also, what is broken? The display or the digitizer? Most often it's the digitizer and you still have full display.

To change the complete display is very quick, but changing the cheap digitizer is quite trouble, need to heat the display to get it off.

And while you wait, look for nearby phone cases.

I have just had my iPhone screen (lcd + glass) replaced in wanchai computer centre. It took 10 minutes and cost $ 400.

Different shops there offer this service. I went to a little one on the second floor. Here the card. You can call and ask for the price for your specific model.

    Hi,
How recent was this? At my last visit to Wan Chai Computer Centre (maybe a month ago), it seemed like Roy's shop was replaced.

If he still has a shop there, I vouch for Roy. Honest, reasonably priced and all-round great service. Plus he knows the Apple family products very well; had MacBook and iMac repaired by him too.

It was last Thursday! Good news

I’ll add that my phone is a “vintage” iPhone 6S plus and still there was no problem finding the right spare parts.
