    Nokia 5140 Xpress-on shell?

Bit of a long shot here (given the age of the phone) but does anyone know where I might be able to find a new shell for this phone.

If not, does anyone know of a more up to date rugged, outdoor type phone?

tyr sin tat centre in mong kok (entire shopping centre for phones) or ap liu st in sham shui po (more likely for older phones), however, i doubt you will get an original housing or a new one considering this is a old phone

Thanks, I'll give it a go...

I realise it's unlikely but just hoping one shopkeeper has them in his "will probably never sell" pile.

i heard that the sony ericsson c702 ( Shock, splash and dust resistant ) plus apgs as well as gps in case ur lost in the wilderness, good camera as well as well as flash, great for bear gyrzell type people oor the slightly older nokia 5500 sport ( more basic)

if your budget is high, eg, possibly HK$6000 plus, consider the high end and super rugged brand sonim ( rare brand in hk and expensive, but unrivaled for durability) pls see

I bought a new 5140 several months ago on Ap Liu St. I really doubt whether the stores bother to keep replacement shells though.

Best bet would be via the Nokia Support centres. There's one in CWB (check the Nokia website for the address).

Do you know if you got the last one?

Can you remember the actual shop?

These phones are carried as normal stock.

No, I can't remember the shop, but they have ruggardised phones on display on a stand outside it, so it's not hard to find.

Thanks, I thought these phones were obsolete 3 years ago so I'm a bit surprised they are carried as normal stock.
