has anyone tried trading in their iPhone 3G at Hutchinson 3 shops? what's is the offer for 8gb 3G?

or, has anyone tried selling it to a mongkok phone shop (or somewhere similar)?

I'm considering upgrading to 3Gs for better speed and battery life.

Why don't you sell on classifieds? You'll get about HK$3k for that.

You will probably get less with a trade in.

last year I was able to get a better cost in mongkok... with less hassel. I just haven't had time to make it out there recently

I know 3 were offering around 2.5k for 16GB on trade in against 3GS. Prices gone down a lot as availability has gone up. It's a different arket this year!
