Few questions about buying iPhone 3GS in HK

Hello. In HK, can I buy the iPhone 3GS, say via Apple Online Store or Fortress, without subscription to phone service plan? As I have a cell phone already, I mainly use the iPhone as a PDA and a WIFI internet access device. Also, if I buy the iPhone here, will it work in other countries? Are all iPhone sold in HK unlocked? Thanks.

Best to order online at the Apple store, they do free next delivery. Yes you can have the iPhone without a service plan and yes it's unlocked so you can use it in other coutries, except Korea.

Thank you very much for your info. So, I should be able to use it in Japan, Canada, USA and Europe, etc. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Iphone will work in South Korea, its just you can't get an Iphone in South Korea to buy, due to local restrictions on WIPI.
