What's the best plan for me?

Hey all,

I am currently using an unlocked iPhone from Canada with China Mobile (PEOPLES). I am on a pre-paid sim card and also use the $98 (they had a discount of $78) per month for unlimited EDGE. I find this is ok, but I also make a lot of calls to China and Canada and it eats up my minutes.
I refill $300 a time so I can get $400 worth but eat it up in 2-3weeks which is not including the $78 for the EDGE.

Can anyone suggest a cheaper plan please?
What I need is:
Data- max 2-350mb a month, don't think ill need more
Good local rates
And cheap IDD packages so I can call China or Canada

Also need it without a contract and I am looking to spend around $200-300 a month max.

How many minutes a month are you making to China & Canada? And do you have a credit card?

Maybe make around 800-1000 minutes a month to China and Canada. And local would be less than 1000, around 500 probably.
No credit card at the momment, in the process of applying.

The no credit card limits you a lot in terms of IDD plans. But honestly I don't think you're going to be able to do much better than HK$0.2 in total for airtime and IDD for calls to China or Canada (perhaps HK$0.16 or so for China), and HK$0.1 for local calls, so I think you're well over $200/month there, without the data.

Remember that you get charged airtime for incoming calls as well - are they included in your figures above?

What about SMS? They form a substantial part of many people's bills.
