Halo:Reach Legendary Edition AGAIN!

I did, recently given up finding a place to pre-order halo reach, but my friend might've given me false hope, or he isn't lying. He claims to know a store in Tsuen Wan, allowing people to pre-order, buy on opening day and get the Recon armor! Anyone know such store, or should i say, hes bluffing.

Its BS. I was told by a guy at MSHK involved with the X360 division that they might have a launch event similar to that of H3.

Frankly I think your best best would be Amazon or Ebay or simply wait as a few months down the road people will be offloading these at half the price. This is what happened with H3, COD and several titles.

My buddy has 2 Legendary editions so if you guys still need one pm me for his contact info.
He's selling them for $700 a pop with everything sealed (Statue, Diary set, Patch). The only thing he is not giving you with it is the actual game disc which is just the regular version.

Jared.... Did you or your friends like they Legendary edition? What was your oughts on the statue and the diary?

One of the guys at work (who is also on this site) and is a total geek loved it. He has one at work on his desk and another in a sealed box which he is possibly saving for his retirement. He is a collector and buys all the McFarlane dolls. He loved the diary but his only complaint was that the data pod (box) should have been made in Plastic so it could be reused. I agree with him on that and this is something we mentioned to Bungie when we saw it....but again for $399 and $799 (in HK) its a steal especially since this is Bungies last Halo game and the best one ever. I like the statue but am not into collecting stuff so..I just got the Limited Edition. That should keep me busy until MOH and Black ops is released on the PS3.

My other buddy picked up 2 Legendary Editions for the armor (Flaming Spartan) and did not care about the other stuff which is why I am helping him sell it off.

I was told today by MSFT guys at HMV that only 200 consoles and 200 Legendary Editions were released here. They had problems selling them as people were buying the Limited Edition. Most of the Legendary Editions were picked up by the retailers in SSP and MKK who were selling them at a premium today along with the free DL cards and Tees that were to be given out for free at launch. Some of the distributors here are reporting very slow sales today and are worried about getting stuck with stock. I suspect this is because the game was leaked for Jtag Consoles over a month ago and the retail ISO was leaked 2 weeks ago.

thanks, i was just curious what some of the reactions were. I had seen some early prototypes for the diary and thought it was really remarkable as a standalone Legendary edition item, but when they added in our statue with the diary, i really thought it was an amazing deal. one of the best boxed items ive seen in history, at least as far as i can recall.

I was just chatting with people on XBL earlier while playing Reach. Almost everyone seemed to like the stuff that came with the package especially the statue and the Diary. The complaints are mainly about the Data Pod and many of the codes for the armor are either missing or don't work. They all commented that it was a much better deal than the H3 helmet which is definitely true as I had that and it was rubbish.

The game is damn good so if you have a 360 you should play it. I'm not a huge Halo fan but it makes me want to load the book (Fall Of Reach) on my Iphone.
