    HMV central closing

After 14 years, they are closing on 3rd of July, I suspect there will be a supersale during that period.

Not just piracy ... but their discounting structure was not suitable for a Central location. Besides, no mainlanders queuing to buy the latest Lady Gaga release.

They should focus more on online sales.

any speculation on what will replace the floor area, another LV/Channel handbag shop? or estate agent.

I personally think it's extremely funny record companies who made money basically by owning the means of recording music have had the rug pulled out from under them by the digital age!!

I'll pay a lot of money to see a good band live but I'm not going to pay to have a plastic disc.
