    sick of DVD clutter!

realise that entirely half of my house's nooks crannies and drawers are filled with DVD's - cant move for them - cant find what I want to watch either!

something has to change! I really dont want to throw them away either!

Is there anywhere to get specialised DVD folders? so I can maybe throw the boxs into recycling ? but keep covers and disks?

is there such a thing? I suppose I can even alphabetacise?!

Dude, come into the 21st century. Put it on hard drive, connect to a wifi router and stream through your computer or xbox.

You will be better for it, freedom of space and cheaper than keeping something for a rainy day in 7 years time when you want to watch some moving that has been gathering dust for the last 7 years.

nah, think we got them in sham shui po.... sorry, it was years ago! can't remember where we got them.

i'm tempted to do the dvd conversion thing...we just have so many, it would take ages to do them all!

We got large 100 disc zip up folio leaf book ( 8 discs per page ie 4 per side ) DVD/disc carriers from the Temple Street market a few years ago. The stall holder was located at the brass Chinese feng shui bric a brac end of the market. Not sure if they still have them now but you never know.

Another place to check out would be the Golden Computer arcade in Sham Shui Po, there are always shops there that sell accessories for disc storage etc...

For something nicer you could check out Tom Lees TST main store where they have their Yamaha display showroom, that branch has a whole floor dedicated to DJ related gear. They might have some options as DJ's have to carry around their music from gig to gig... just an idea.

Can you give them to me? I'm missing a lot of quality DVD's because I lost track of whom I lent them to.

Years ago I bought my cd binders at Golden Arcade, at a large store in the middle of the basement.
not sure if they still sell them but that would be the first place I'd visit.

If all fails just find some large (moving) boxes?

I concur with Virago here, for DVDs you will lose little quality when ripping to hard disk.
