    And do you think most people will wait for the jap version to come out first because of monster hunter? Which leave the US version stock untouch. Which means a less chance of it getting sold out!

    The Wii U will have both more casual and "hardcore" games as you mention. See this interview with Nintendo US CEO:

    I'm guessing if you use the US ver Wii U, Netflix will probably still need some kind of VPN?

    @Paranoic
    I'm pretty hardcore when it comes to gaming and have tried the Wii U. Its seems more targeted towards casual gamers and from what I hear through my sources in the States..sales are not that great.

    I am hearing the same from dealers in HK who ordered very small quantities this time since they were not sure about sales. The sales of gaming hardware is on the decline here of late and the same applies to software. Both the top releases of the year (Halo & BO2) sold well but not as expected.

    BTW Denki and a few other stores were trying to sell it for 7K at launch and they seem to have dropped the price a lot since then

    cool, i can see you're hardcore esp in FPS/TPS games, i regards myself as hardcore but in different field shootemup (dying genre though),just like you admire unchartered on ps3, i admit ikuraga HD/radiant silvergun HD and R type dimenisons on X360, every system has it's gem

    I am not too much into TPS and the last time I played UC3 or my PS3 was in Dec 2011 . I do know the games you mention and its true that these are dying as many of the young kids just tend to prefer shooters these days.

    One of my 9 YO nieces recently found my old 3DO back in the States and she has been playing Road Rash & NFS 1 non stop. She says that she did not know such fun games existed in the past and is enjoying playing on it more than here PS or Xbox
