    http://asia.gamespot.com/e3/sony-sho...ion-4-6409664/

similar to original ps2, interesting concept by sony for PS3 sucessor, mixing symetrical design with a slant front, very distictive futuristic design

or the minimalistic design of xbox one (xbox 360 sucessor), i feel it looks very hifi , almost utilitarianism school of thought, will match your 90's linn amplfier or 70's bang and olfsen vcr

    ps4,

confirmed no online drm style interventation on whether your playing a used game, no restriction on used games ( disc based) at all, you can borrow to your friends, no need for online connection to play offline games

most likely ( though not confirmed) also region free disc based games so you can play all games regardless what country it's from

probably 6 months after ( ie, summer 2014) once the ps4 sales stabilise from initial peak of sales and the ps3 sales will slowly decline, based on past generations, US$200/HK$1500/GBP150/euro180 mark

i wonder if ps vita will reduce in price before then

DRM restrictions are placed by Publishers and not the console manufacturers. They can do this anytime and the best way to implement it is after people have coughed up $$s for the console.
DRM is coming regardless and its only a matter of time. One of the Sony guys recently joked with my buddy that a Coffeemaker is useless without the coffee when he was asked about DRM.

PS4 is RF like the PS3 but locks could be placed on the account to play set regions to protect the local market. This is the Publishers decision so its their call.

I guess we will see what happens when it hits the market later this year.

As for MSFT...this is the kind of crap that pisses me off

Having seen both as in the actual units, I prefer the X1 which looks and feels very solid.

I will be buying both systems and have already put in my preorders.

well, xbox have always had chunky well built designs, even the original xbox had casing which 9mm bullet can't penetrate

btw, based that xb one has region coding, have you order HK ver ( not out until 2014), uk or us ver?
