    Chromecast shipping internationally

For those of you interested, the Chromecast is now shipping internationally via amazon.com:

    http://www.androidcentral.com/amazon...s-uk-australia

    http://www.amazon.com/Google-Chromec...rds=chromecast

Delivery charge to HK is quite steep at US$18.50 though, but if you order two the delivery charge increases incrementally to around US$22.

I don't think it beats a Raspberry PI / XBMC combo for viewing HD content. Does it?

I got one that can't work with my wifi setting

It does arrive to me through usps but I don't like the lack of
Documentation, network does not work and I want to sell it to someone
    Else.

I've played around with it, and for the price (in the US anyway) and the simplicity, it is very hard to beat. Now that they have opened up the API, you will see a lot more apps coming out for it.

Of course Pie is much better and more versatile, but that is not the point of the Chromecast. Chromecast is supposed to be a single use device (i.e. streaming and casting), whilst the Pie is basically an entire computer.

Anyone tried Chromecast for Netflix, how is the quality? It would be interesting if it gave me the same HD quality as the PS3 netflix app, but most other apps such as on my Smart TV give me too much lower quality streamingon average.

Chromecast is just fine for Netflix. HBO Go is fine too.

Just a note: if your device is streaming thru a vpn or dns, you will not be able to stream to chromecast.

Am I right to assume this doesn't work with iTunes?
