Hong Kong, China and Macau broadcast Digital TV on the DTMB Digital TV standard (Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcast).
Most of the UK, Europe, and the rest of Asia-Pacific uses the DVB-T Digital TV Standard (Digital Video Broadcasting — Terrestrial).
The two standards are not compatible with one-another.
However, is a Digital TV aerial designed for use in the UK (i.e. a DVB-T environment) going to work in Hong Kong to receive a DTMB signal?
Is there anything about the two different standards that means one needs a different type of digital aerial?
