Internet Radio - how to find stations?

Can anyone tell me how to get the links for internet radio stations?

I can play a few through my browser but would like to get the URL's so I can stream them through programs like TVersity.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

If it's not obvious ask them.

Try a search engine, e.g. Google, Yahoo, Clusty. Input "internet radio stations" for results.

The radio station you are trying to listen too, find an email address on their site or call them up on the phone.

At one point I got this station from geoexpat:

HKGFM - Your Music Universe, Online Radio, Internet Radio

And from them I won 6 tickets to see Harry Connick, Jr.

There are a number of channels to listen to here. Not bad at all.

    Hello Claire

Thanks - I know how to find the stations via google etc. But clicking the links plays them through my PC.

I want to find the underlying URL (mms) details so I can, say, play them in my lounge through a media server.

I just can't find out the URL to put in the media center. That is what I would like to find out.

    Thanks!!!

    Hey Newbi...

Reciva is one of the main providers of Internet radio links, now more than 15,000 not counting Podcasts:

    www.Reciva.com

    You can also try VTuner:

vTuner - Live Internet Radio Broadcasts Around the World

    Cheers,

    Dan...
