ok...just went to Wanchai 188, prices are crazy due to shortage of supply (there will be more stocks coming next Monday, as I have heard)
I went to the first shop from elevator on the top floor, they sell a "totally" USA version = $380
then I walked down further and got a price $350 (for a HK version, the package has distributor information)
and I walked further down and got a price $330...fair enough, I put down the money (also HK version)

oh...you should play LIVE only with friends from your friend's list.
try not to play with strangers..there are too many kids and too many axxholes.

anyway, TESTDRIVE will be out next Friday (Sept 8th)
I will buy it, too because I want to have the Hawail map

Yeah TD looks great. There was a lot of stock in SSP yesterday and one of my friends picked up a secondhand copy today for $180 in SSP.

Most of the people on my friends list are not into this stuff except for my 12 yo nephew who has been harassed by some retards in the live version. Well its back to Dead Rising perhaps until Test Drive comes out.

Does the HK version have a dubbed Canto soundtrack with the hoodlums speaking & swearing in Cantonese. That would be cool.

How many of you guys out there are BF2:MC fans? I'd love to get a clan together for that game.

    Retro
I am on BFMC2 online quite a bit. Buzz me if you want to set up something.

Totally agree with you. Seems like SR is mainly attracting 10-16 year old gangster wannabes. The online mode is well set up but the guys playing are a bunch of idiot kids. Hopefully they all go back to school tomorrow and we don't see them anymore

    Hey JaredHK,

Retro here, or AKA Denide. Just had my user id changed if you're confused. I have you on my friends list so I'll try to hook up with you this week!

I dont like the Saint's Row Live gameplay.
the map seems to be large at first.
but once you play it, you realize that no matter how big the map is, there is only "one road / one way" to get from one side of the map to another side.

it's not like HALO2 or GRAW, players get to choose which routes to get to the other sides..(so the enemy must predict where I will be coming)

so I decide to sell the game after just one day of try-out

Guys, can we split this out into a new thread or two?

We're sending out dozens of emails to people who might no longer be interested in this thread.
