XBOX 360 in Hong Kong

I have heard that there are some guys selling them locally. A friend found an ad on Discuss.com.hk and picked one up from the guy.

I am sure the guys in SSP will have them in a few weeks.

some Japanese version XBOX 360 consoles are "pre-released" in HK market at HK$4500 per unit (price includes one XBOX 360 game!)


price range =HK$380 to 400 per XBOX 360 game

even better news,
most XBOX 360 games are ALL-REGION code.
therefore, you can own a Japanese version console or a HK version console, and buy most of the USA version XBOX 360 games to play!!
**NOTE: Japan version official release date = Dec 10th 2005
**NOTE: HK versioin official release date = March 2nd 2006

finally, please note that USA & Japan version console is running at 100-110V / 300W!!
you will need to buy a Power Transformer (that's 300W output) to convert the local 220-240V to 100-110V first!

I have to wait until Monday to check on this (when my XBOX 360 arrives)
