I-Cable/Nox box output (US TV question)

Hi, I am moving to HK by March and I am still trying to keep my brand new tv instead of buying another one (it is a 58" that I really like).

My question is: does anyone know if the output from the icable/now boxes (HDMI) are compatible to US tvs?

In Brazil, I remember I could choose the output format (for US TV or PAL) on the local cable boxes.

I can only speak for the NOW HD box, and that has an HDMI output. As I understand it, HDMI is HDMI - the concepts of PAUL/NTSC/SECAM no longer exist, so if your TV has an HDMI input running at 720p or 1080p then you should be fine.

Thanks for the input. I will consider then taking the tv- even though I will still have to buy a tranformer for the voltage.
