Can anyone tell me about benefit of HSBC Premier account?

If you have no accounts overseas - almost none.

If you have accounts in other countries (or will have) - free transfers and ability to manage all your accounts under one 'umbrella' from an internet banking perspective.

Also - free coffee while waiting in queues.

That's about it (in HK at least, overseas they might actually have some benefits). And yes, I'm Premier.

Are HSBC employees in Hong Kong eligible for Premier account without needing to have the minimum balance requirement? Justwondering since I will be moving from US and thinking of opening a US account first before I get to HK. I will be an HSBC employee.

The perk I use most is withdrawing money for free at HSBC ATM overseas.

Also got my little black gadget thing replaced in 24 hours with a little bit of arm twisting.

It's good not to have to stand in line at the bank and of course I use the online trading/banking constantly
