My question is, on which day this year does the annual "Hug an insurance salesperson" festival fall?

    Thank you
I've never heard of this day personally, but if you think your agent is doing a bang-up job, why not give him/her a hug the next time he/she meets you?

Hat's off to the OP. He came back and answered the questions!

I retract my epic fail comment - it's the quickest response I've ever had from AIA.

    Good work.

    Good work.
Today was my district director's 30th anniversary of working in this company. Seeing him do so much good for others over the span of his career has made me think about what more I could do for others as well. Thus, this thread.

i thought the OP was completely useless (or clueless) on some of his answers. Your answer above - if true - explains things much more clearly

I have a genuine question. I'm trying to buy professional indemnity insurance for our company. The only quote I can get in HK is for a premium that is 10 x the price I paid last year for cover by an Australian firm. Both covered worldwide excluding USA and there has been no other change in the business. This year we deregistered for GST in Australia so the Australian firm declined to quote on a renewal.

    1. Why is the premium so much higher here in HK?
    2. Can you suggest any cost-effective PI insurance here in HK?

If you have a genuine answer to 2. feel free to PM me.

Why not give advice in all the previous threads that details problems with policies. That way ppl will know what to do in the future if they have the same issue.

Because other IFAs might have replied and they'll get alerted and a full scale bitch slapping drama might break out.

Here he / she has his own little corner where he can pontificate about insurance.

P.S. Shutting down this advertorial .. was amusing while it lasted.
