    The international transfer works fine. The amount of paperwork and form filling can be a bit much at times - Singapore based banks are like that.

    You could try AlipayHK or WeChat for remittance to the Philippines. I think they have better rates than banks. Though you would have to register a new account with them

    back then, when they did not charge remittance fees yet and had promo rates, AlipayHK and WeChat had better rates. also can remit directly to GCash, Cebuana & Palawan.

    Checking their rates now, Wise is better: 7.22934 vs 7.223624.
    Haven't tried Wise, but can you deposit money via FPS? and seems the transfer is not instant compared to AlipayHK and WeChat

    Not instant, but within a few hours. Yes, you can FPS to a bank in HK.
