    Two pieces currency note

    My kid torn the HKD 100 note into 2 pieces, both pieces are intact. what can I do ? can I change the note for new at any place.

    All money in HK is issued by either HSBC, Standard Chartered and Bank of China - it is clearly marked on the note. So all you have to do is take the note to the bank that issued the note and they will give you a new note for it. You will have to present your HKID. We had to do that several times cos our new puppy had a habit of chewing money. We had to go to different HSBC banks after a while as it got pretty embarrassing to say "My dog ate my money ... again!"

    Try painting each end with some gecko DNA, after a while both halves should grow back their respective missing bits.

    An extra hundred for the price of a small gecko and some patience!
