Bank of America and China Construction Bank (Hong Kong)

I have been living in Hong Kong for couple years, and have my payroll in US. For the past couple years, I have been using China Construction Bank (Hong Kong) ATM to get my money which seem to be fine without any bank charges. Most recently, there must be a change in the policy and it seems like BOA is now chariging 3% transaction fee. What is my best option in here to get my money from US? I have to make regular transaction here to pay off my rent, and expenses. Is there a better way without any bank charges?

    Appreciated.

CitiGold or HSBC Premier with accounts in both countries. Do the USD-HKD conversion in HK.

What about opening an a local account here and doing periodic transfers from the US to HK? Would be cheaper in the long term

Yes - HSBC Premier needs a total relationship balance (including investments etc) in one country of HK$1M or some similar amount (not sure if the US is $100k or $125k) then you get Premier status globally.
