Which bank doesn't charge for local wire to the same bank

Maybe I am used to banking in my home country where wiring to another account within the same bank is generally free.

I wired some money from my HangSeng to a friend's HangSeng account, which costed me something like 35. I think it is ridiculously high. I wonder which bank doesn't charge for wiring within the same bank (different account holder)? I only plan to use the cheapest service, so please don't say HSBC Premium or Citigold type. Thanks.

Just transfer it at an ATM. HSBC/Hang Seng, you can use either one and transfer money to your friends HSBC/Hang Seng account, free of charge and it's immediate.

I stand corrected. Didn't know this had changed.

Careful with wires to HSBC, they charge for incoming, even to Premier accounts (HK$ 7.50).

Some other banks charge for incoming too. Depends how they send it.

    Citibank doesn't charge.
HSBC is a disgrace because they do.

How strange. Yes, definitely not charged.
