Anyone who "guarantees" returns is a scam for suckers. Guarantee means nothing. Is he guaranteeing the money from his own pocket? I mean come on. Lol

This is a fee that Citibank charges. If you read the fine print when transferring, immediate transfers incur the fee. If you transfer more than 3 days out then it is free. So just set the transfer as a future date and it will be free.

You can also write a cheque. Those are free.

what does the RTGS and ECG stand for? so if l want to transfer money from my brokers account, which uses Citibank in HongKong, to deposit into my HSBC account, l don't have an option other than wire transfer to my HSBC account, so can't even choose ECG.
So if l open a bank account with Citibank, l l won't be charged an inward remittance fee?
is it true with Standard Chartered as well?

    cheers!
Withdraw the cash and deposit it in a cash deposit machine. Often the machines of different banks are near each other anyway.

My Standard Chartered Bank accepted a deposit sent by wire from Citibank in the PRC and there was no fee but an inter bank transfer in Hong Kong from Citibank to my Hang Seng bank account charged me HKD 15.

I knew because the agreed upon amount of the transfer was LESS by exactly HK $15 and it happened twice.
