HSBC: UK funds to HK via local branch?

What it says on the tin: is there a way to do this directly through a HSBC branch in Hong Kong?

I'm in a bit of a spot at the moment and need to transfer the remaining money from my UK account to my HK account. I want to know if there's a way I can do this quickly. I'm also not sure what the HK and UK branches would charge for such a transfer, or if they offer this service at all (I vaguely recall asking about it last year and my reply was that the HK branch and UK branch were completely separate and didn't communicate, so, shrug).

edit: a bit of clarification, i specifically want to know if HSBC will allow me to transfer from my UK account to my HK account through a Hong Kong branch, as opposed to having to contact the UK branch and get to know telephone banking

I transferred from my UK HSBC account to HK HSBC account last year. they charged me just 5pounds i think. if you have online banking its fairly simple.
