With FPS, you "submit" a payment. Most banks reply immediately (although the sla Is still 8-10 seconds) so you get a confirmation pretty soon.. but besides the major banks, small local banks may reply in more than 30secs or even reject the payment after a day.
Payme gives you *confirmation* of the payment in less than a second.

"Cheaper" I mean for the bank..some charge the end user some don't. Some wallets (not all) charge you a fee if you cash out to your bank account.

You can also use Payme to send (and receive) FPS payments to any other bank user... just type their FPS identifier (can be email, phone number)... If the same phone number is on Payme AND also an fps identifier, you can choose to send via Payme (faster, cheaper) or FPS to their bank account.

From the point of view of FPS, payme (which predates FPS by a couple of years) is like a bank account in an fps-participant bank.

Payme can also be used to pay in many online website e.g. hktvmall, FB/Instagram shops...which rarely accept FPS
Reading through the old thread, is it still accurate to say
    1. Topping up using an HSBC Credit Card, that would not be considered as a cash advance but a regular cc transaction?
    2. HSCB Credit card top ups won't earn any credit card points?

    1. Why would it be considered a cash advance?
