Amex Cathay Elite Card Application Mainland China Resident

    Hi guys,

I'm EU passport holder, I have a personal account at HSBC in HK together with a credit card.
I live in mainland china but I have a contract as company director in HK.
I'd like to apply for an Amex Asiamiles card considering there's a nice offer at the moment...

For the application online is required an address proof in HK. Not being a resident in HK, could I use any other address for that ? ( Friend or accountant.. )

    Any experience? Thanks

You'd need a valid HK ID card to get the Amex.

DBS and Stan Chart Asia Miles cards are better offers and more widely accepted.

What's your credit score in Hong Kong? I think I get some offers because of good score.

If you have a HKID, yes, if not, no.
