. Nothing more annoying that having money but no Wechat pay or Alipay to pay for food and then you can't even order a coffee because you don't have an app and they don't take orders - only fulfill them

Thats just bad planning. They should have a few tablets around the store for people who randomly walked in without the ordering app, to just place an order - and pay with whatever cashless mechanism when they collect.
