    Avoiding PayPal fees

I wanted to transfer £20 to someone on PP using family & friends but looks like I'll be charged almost £5, does anyone know how to avoid this? Thank you

Don't use PP. Their charges are high and exchange rates are a ripoff.

There's an alternative called Revolut that may work for you.

Revolut! I'm in the UK and I'm using Revolut... fantastic.

If you only have HKD and no access to a UK bank account, you can use TransferWise. The fees are still a little high due to the small amount but it should be less than HK$10
