Any idea if HSBC is back online ?

I used one of their ATMs at 2pm to accidentally withdraw a ton of cash and deposit most it back. Didn't have any issues

So, apparently there is nothing to see .. smile, wave and keep walking.

Francis Fong Po-kiu, honorary president of the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation, said errors could have occurred during the maintenance process of the banks.

He said it is common for financial institutions to carry out maintenance from midnight to early morning on weekends.

Finance sector lawmaker Chan Chun-ying said many customers were affected, adding that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority might request the banks to submit a detailed report about the incident.

I do wonder if there are any stats around of banks that have "all systems" outages over an hour in the last say 5-10 years.
