Now that a shit ton of cards have been identified as functional, they're advising card holders to continue using the card instead of proactively replacing them?!?

I also got a US9.28 charge for some "www.empoweb." without the .com or anything. I guess I'll also have to have a conversation...

This is the reason I cut my SCB AM card last year.

Particularly in the midst of a global pandemic, for a card focused on mileage points, the arrogance was astounding. Never had problems waiving annual fees with other banks before this.

Glad I lucked out of this recent data leak.

You must have your cards a while. If you're new you get 1 year waiver. Did anyone still get charged while being a cardholder for under 1 year?

    Looks like some Trump followers.

    Nothing on my card, yet.

    2017 to 2021 (when I cancelled).

Normally threatening to cut the card does the trick: SCB didn't even try to persuade.

Maybe they foresaw a switch to the CX card? Anyways I couldn't be bothered to re-apply.

I didn’t get charges in USD, I got a whopping 26,000+HKD stolen from my Standard Chartered credit card last night. No two-factor authorization asking for OTP. Just poof. And it’s been impossible to get through their hotline to speak to an actual person.

That's crazy! Are you able to go into card management and dispute it and block card?

Been on hold twice now for 45 mins with no answer.

Once they change from pending you can go into card management on the app and report them but it also blocks your card at the same time.
I did this and now can't see the card in my profile. How do you pay the balance?
