Yes thats the tricky one, bastards sneak in HKD 2k every year (not sure if the amount is proportionate to credit limit) and i have to remember to get it waived, in a way not bad as it forces me to carefully check CC bill every month so never bothered to call and check if perpetual waiver is possible.

I do like the new Citic Motion MC dining rebates.. 6% for up to 3750 spending or so (200% based on 5.45%).

ATM card from any major bank in HK (it has UnionPay logo and works perfectly). No rebates though.

    My strategy:

    Online - HSBC Red
Everything else - HSBC Visa Signature

I only have two cards and cut back on the # of cards I've been collecting. One thing I need to watch out is the Visa Signature card will be charging their annual fee soon (after the 2 year free period). Not sure how successful people have been in getting the fee waived with the provider?

BOC - I card been cancelled. Didn't get a notice or anything! Tried using it on several occasions only to have a declined card. Went online finally and confirmed cancelled. Seems they are getting rid of the card, "on or before September 2023". Seems its before in my case. However would have been nice to be told in advance!
