Does anyone know if paying Netflix with MC/Visa still incurs the 0.95% "overseas HKD" extortion charge? I switched it to AMEX after that, but perhaps they've resolved the "problem" by now.

Unrelated: but am I the last person to have noticed that Wellcome is no longer included in the "HSBC Red Hot Rewards" categories since 2021? These past two years I've been stupidly using that card (for what I now realise would have been the basic 0.4%) when I should have been using the Red card.

Wellcome was still part of the list in 2020.

I use my SC Cashback card linked to Octopus for payment (auto reload), so always get 1.5% rebate. Plus I link my Yuu membership to Octopus, so 1 card for my shopping needs in Wellcome

Everymile - just got a 2100$ RewardsCash spending target bonus which equates to 42000 Asia / Other Miles /hotel points. It actually makes sense to target maximum spends towards new cards.

scb smart - i've read its 1% but cant find the info again
everyday card for gas, public transport, and lounge pass
sc q - no rebate on alipay. no handling charge for taobao

I've seen the 1 HKD = 1 Mile promotion on cathay, but I can't find any info on it. Anyone has any idea? Thanks
