Mortgage-linked account or large payments?

If you owe the bank $10m mortgage, and you have for example $3m cash sitting in the offset account, then you owe them $7m. If the bank goes broke, you still owe them $7m, you dont lose anything. You are worried you will lose the $3m cash and then still owe them $10m? Cmon, banks are sneaky fuckers but not this sneaky.
