Question Recommendation for renting small safety deposit box long-term

Any recommendations? How good is Guardforce for renting a small safety deposit box?

Probably will not consider banks since based on the posts on this forum trying to secure any kind of deposit box with any bank is extremely difficult - especially if one values convenience (i.e., being able to access it near commercial areas such as HK island or Kowloon).

Would be interesting to hear any stories on how reliable safety deposit boxes are in HK etc.

wouldn't risk it, banks are licensed and regulated, private firms are not.

Consider how likely a branch is to stay where it is - not unheard that they close or relocate, and then you have to come by and pick up your stuff.

Also, if it is a bank and they do a KYC check on you, they may bar you from accessing your box until they have what they want from you.
