HK Credit Cards For Lounge Access

As an aside, what cards still give lounge access these days? I assume Priority Pass is a long gone benefit. The AMEX Explorer and HSBC Business still give Plaza Premium Access I believe. Because of this... I never really paid attention on Everymile limitations.

As a separate aside... does anyone still bother with Plaza Premium these days? The long queues just to get in are off-putting enough.

I'm wondering if this tightening of access rules boils down to PP making a conscious effort to limit "free" visitors by being less generous to card holders and/or charging the bank more per visit.

Not in Hk. In other SEA ports, yes

Citi Premier Miles does, but on a similar basis as EveryMile: some minimum expenditure on the card in the following month.

HSBC Expat has a couple of cards which give you Priority Pass access. Might be an issue with FX rates if your expenses are primarily in HK.

And Amex Platinum .. but thats a become a bit expensive. Might be worth it in some cases.

I also thought that DBS has a card that gives you priority pass access, cannot find it on their site..

I think also SCB Priority and BOC Cheers also give you Priority Pass access. Various minimum levels for both though.

There is also CCB Visa Infinite. Again minimum levels.

Plaza Premium IMHO is not worth it on its own. Find it better to eat in the food court. But each to their own (I used to always go to Plaza Premium before).

There are a few plaza premium near the other side of the long middle vertical (i.e. gates 60, also gates 26).. those are decent. Still quite pack with people but you don't need to queue much..

I do get some access tickets from BOC cheers.. 2 tix (free) per year, then 2 tix every quarter if you spend 15k on that quarter.. The good thing is they actually send you an sms telling you how many tix you have remaining and when the tix expires...

The one across / near the Amex & Chase lounges does not seem have a crowd. Not sure if thats a premium++ or available to anyone with one of the CCs.

I meant the Plaza Premium .. have seen an entrance across from the Chase lounge. Not sure if its the arse end of another crowded lounge or no one uses it.
