    banking questions.... HSBC.... confused :(

Thank you for your suggestion. I have asked different banks here in the US and they don't offer anything that can transfer money freely betwen accounts except using "wiring". I am confused..... I don't want to pay everytime I transfer funds. Is there a specific type of account I should be asking for? Thanks again for your valuable suggestion.

Did you ask HSBC or other banks?

Let me dig up the HSBC charge sheet.

Shiri, I have asked many banks including HSBC and citibank. Both banks don't have anything that allows me to "transfer" funds between accounts. Instead, I have to do an actual "wiring". The fee is $40 at citibank and $25 at HSBC. Anything cheaper and more convenience? thanks in advance

International wire transfers are not cheap.

If you're transfering smaller amounts, you may just want to write yourself a check (HK$ 50 if they purchase it and HK$150 if they send it for collection) and desposit in your local account.

Thanks Shiri, Would I be able to write myself a check (check issued by a US bank, let say, wells fargo, or HSBC) and have it cashed? What do you meant by if they can buy it? or send it for collection? Thanks again for sharing your experience. I appreciate your valuable suggestion.
