    HK company formation and support

    Hello,
I need to establish HK limited company. Can you please recommend any RELIABLE business partner for that?
    With reasonable prices.
Clear and full answers compatibility. I hate those e-mail ping-pong to clarify same question.
Support in bank account and business credit cards opening at HSBC.
Accounting and audit service for yearly maintenance.
    Nominee service.
    Tax exempt procedure.

Is there any one with such requrements out there in HK? I would really like to find one. Or if you know one that could complete part of my company running process tasks, it would be also great.

Thank you very much for information sharing!

One of my contacts recently went through the same process and contacted lots of people. Let me quote him for you:

I have send loads of e-mails and made phone calls and finally made my decision. E&M Accounting and Taxation Consultant Company this company.

    Their prices:
One time company set up fee (including business license, bank account opening documents) HK$7,900
Annual accounting, tax filing and auditing, company secretary fee, preparing annual return, registered address HK$8,800

They reply fast and are clear about things. The other companies reply slow in poor English. Sometimes they don't understand my questions and just write something...
I've no personal experience with these guys and I don't know if you could find better prices. But it looks as he found what he wanted in them. Hope that helps.

From my own experience, it will take you a few weeks to get HSBC bank accounts running, Standard Chartered is much faster. For business credit cards you will probably be required to make a time deposit (equal or more than your monthly limit). Nominee service (ie. you need a nominee shareholder or director etc) should be a nobrainer with HK public accountants, but please note that HK companies only need one shareholder nowadays.

I did try to recommend you the people who helped me set up my company - who were excellent, high quality and I would be happy to recommend, but Shri deleted my post for some reason that I don't really understand.

So if you want their details, please PM me.

    Thanks for your help!

I guess that HSBC is more respectable and reliable bank. Looking at recent poll here I see that most people prefer HSBC. But maybe this is for personal banking. Also SC site was very unhelpful for me as business. No information, no service description, no tariffs. HSBC is way better.

I sent you a reply to your PM. To add, the people I mentioned can also set your bank account up (with HSBC) as they are registered to be able to do it without you having to go to the bank (which I found quite helpful, our original company required about half a day of director time filling in forms in the bank!).

HSBC has online banking for business - no idea how they compare to other banks for business purposes. They annoy the hell out of me for personal banking!

My general question. Do you all think that opening bank account through such companies is secure? Can they somehow get access to bank account?
How can I be sure they fill application with only me as owner of the account not some third party?

Not a problem. They just supply the forms and prefill info- you have to sign and only you get the security device.

Some companies offer opening bank account without visiting HK at all. How can I be sure that they supply bank with my application, not theirs?
And money from bank account could be withdrawn at cash desk by bank account signature person.
Is there a way to secure that process, without visiting HK and be present during account opening procedure.

Knowing how paranoid HSBC is about security, I cannot believe a "dodgy" firm would get authorised to open an account. And you put the money into the account, so it's worthless until you do so and presumably it's not that hard to ring up HSBC and confirm the names of any authorised signatories before putting money in, if you are really that nervous.

Thanks for keeping my nerves safe!
Hope everything will be smooth while working with people from HK.
