How to start a new business online

    Hi all
I'm currently working as a logistics mgr in the garment trading firm. Always have a idea to do some trading business on my own in my spare time. So i am thinking about trading some accessories, e..g earrings, necklace, etc to overseas through online.

So pls. tell me what's steps / concerns I need to consider before kicking off the buisness? Beside, where is the best place online to sell the products? , e..g Ebay, any others? How to get the payment from overseas customer? No guarantee if i don't recieve the payment after product is shipped...many questions.

    Pls. help.

The truly best way is to start on ebay.
Everything is easy to set up and will cost you no money.

You need to establish your market and gain the confidence to develop a bespoke website etc. You will also have the experience of operating in a highly competitive market.

Before you dive in, read the ebay help pages and set up all the accounts needed. Be harsh with customers on payment terms and use the advise given on the ebay site.

Remember - you trade on YOUR terms and not the customer.

Well, it will cost you money ... listing fees + payment collection fees + marketing costs to ensure you get good positioning on ebay (paypal or whatever - approximately 7-15% of the sale if I am not mistaken).

Payment - usually taken in advance before you ship. If you sell through ebay, you can even ensure that customers are not from certain countries ...

Like Boris said .. start with their help pages.

A quick Google shows that the site you linked is a dodgy MLM scheme based round Forex trading; it is nothing to do with running an online business. I really don't think we need to be promoting those here do we?
