I will try to keep this as simple as possible, as after trailing a few threads, I'm aware my question is likely repetitive. I have also talked to a few friends, but would like more input and clear direction on where I should go next.
I believe I am on the verge of developing a truly unique, innovative business concept would fit perfectly in HK. I expect to have a legit plan of action in place within the next year to bring this to fruition, although I am not particularly in a rush.
My question is quite simply: Where should I start? What information do I need to read and be aware of? What legislation do I need to review, etc.
Also, some clarity on my position to make everything more realistic is probably necessary, so here's my current situation;
-I am working on a sponsored visa and have been in HK 9 months to date. Obviously I am not a resident.
-I do not have a large amount of capital to be invested up front, although I may investigate and potentially have somebody who would be willing to back me should I absolutely need it (this is not my ideal scenario however).
-The idea is education based and I presume it would not take a large amount of capital to start-up.
Thank you sincerely for anyone who helps. Very much appreciated.
