Angry History Channel Makes Change for the Worse!

    Hello all History Channel lovers!

Recently, as you may know, there was a change in the programming offered on standard History and History HD. Both channels currently have exactly the same
    programming at the same time.

Until now, if we missed one show we
liked we could often catch it later on the other channel because History HD offered a separate program schedule. Or, if there was something of little interest on History HD, we often found a program we like on standard History. The History Asia Website even
states to this day that the programming will be different:

"HISTORY HD will broadcast 100 percent HD content, and will offer a
separate schedule from the standard definition service. Programming
covers a diversity of historical genres ranging from military to
contemporary history and technology to natural history, as well as
science, archaeology and pop culture." (this is directly from :
    History South East Asia )

Please join me in expressing your displeasure with this change by writing to NowTV and to the A&E Networks. I am also working on getting direct contact information for the decision-makers at both companies and will pass that on later:

    NowTV: [email protected]

    A&E/History: History South East Asia

    Let's change History!

    Dan...

Judging by its programming, I think we should start by demanding a name change!

Discovery Turbo used to be my favourite Now TV channel, but they have made it so Americanised over the past year with content that just doesnt farkin interest me that I stopped watching.

It was great when they had the A plane, bike, jag, helicopter, cobra MG is born series, wheeler dealers fifth gear and a couple of others, the NZ car show and so on.... lately its either the Tutles back to back, with Trick out my redneck truck or lets race in a straight line or around an oval track which I find mind numbinly boring !

We get History HD channel, which is generally one of the few channels we regularly watch.... That's not saying much though lol

I really don't care anymore, HK TV in all forms be it paid or free to air is awful, majority of the time.

i agree, I seem to remember watching the same endless repeats of adverts for other shows every 8 mins...

I cancelled my TV subscription, realised I hadnt watched it in a year....

    now I just stream....

Cable tv itself is history, I don't think there are many people who still use it. The days of people paying extra for special crippled internet connections will soon be over.

Don't know about the states, but even in the UK its days are numbered.

TV should switch to internet, peers suggest | Technology | The Guardian
