Is it cheaper running a HK umbrella company of a UK company?

    Hi guys,

I run a LTD company by myself and mainly sell things online to the US, and would like to know whether it's cheaper to run my company in HK or UK, especially if I want to still get paid in the UK.

I'm not sure if this makes any sense, but I plan to open a company in HK, buy my current one in UK, transfer all my assets/operations to my HK company, and simply use the UK company to keep paying me in UK - this is mainly recommended by a non-tax related accountant.

Does that make sense and is it cheaper doing so, since I've read I don't need to pay tax in HK for any foreign operations. Appreciate tips and advice from people with experience in this area!

    Thanks!

*I have permanent citizenship and address in both UK and HK.

I think it depend on where your ACTUAL operation is
If you did not pay tax in HK, where is your tax subject? I think you better consult tax professional(check yr inbox

The way I see it, you should try and run in both countries. Otherwise you are planning on moving to a particular country. Which ever it is, you should consult a professional.
