Question Sole proprietorship registration Q's- address & fee exemption & bank

I'm in the process of starting an e-commerce business and am mainly doing it as a side hustle thing until it picks up, then I can see which direction I'd like to scale and what not.
After comparing the rules I realize that despite the unlimited liability, as I'm at a complete starting phase, a sole proprietorship is my best option to begin, and with that, I have some questions that I couldn't find the answer to:

    - Is address information in the business registration public information? I was thinking of using my home address but for one, I don't know if it's allowed and it may not be good due to privacy reasons. Is PO box possible? Or is subscribing to a virtual office plan the only way?

    - I understand the registration for a business will cost $2250hkd now, but since I'm in my starting phase I don't know if I'll make over $30,000 per month, I think I do qualify for the fee/levy exemption but I was wondering if anyone knows how it works in terms of the fee getting exempted. DO I first pay when I register, and then within the month apply for the exemption, and if approved, I'll get the fee back in the form of a refund/reimbursement? Or am I suppose to file exemption when I apply for registration?

    - Does anyone know if the IRD cares whether if the profit I earned goes to my overseas bank account or if it must be in Hong Kong? Also, would personal bank accounts be okay, or must it be a corporate bank account?

    Thanks!

    Home address is fine.
    Public can find your address.
Personal bank accounts are fine. (Some companies might be unwilling to pay to personal accounts.)
    Overseas bank accounts are fine.
You'd be a rare SP that makes over $30k in this town.

What if I don't own the property for my home address? Still okay?

Oh and, are SPs in Hong Kong allowed to use a business name or they have to use their name to register as SP? Not familiar with the naming rules.

My idea is to build up to multiple websites under one business registration, so the name will not be my name but something that can cover multiple websites. Possible as a SP in HK?

Yes... your SP will have a 'trading as' name... can be Chinese and English. Why would it matter if you own your address or not? Anyway, it doesn't.

My thinking was that technically if the place is rented and is a residential address, it may come into conflict with rental agreements or whatever laws that I'm not aware of since businesses cannot be conducted on residential property? Sort of a gray area that I'm lacking understanding on I suppose. DO other sole proprietors use their home address if their home is technically their "office"? I feel like e-commerce kinda pushes it into a gray area, hence my concern.

It's completely normal to use your home address as your business address.

How did you go in the end? Did u register with a sole trader name? Use ur home address? Ended up using your personal account for putting in your transactions? I'm in the same boat. I would love to hear from you! Thanks!
