Setting Up a Small Business Exporting a Brand to the UK

    Hello Everyone,

I am posting this message to ask a question and get some advice.

I am going to set up a small fashion brand as a hobbie/alternitive income that will be manufactured in china and exporting to the UK to sell.

In order to do the above I want to register the business and open a business account here in Hong Kong for tax reasons.

My question is this, is this way of doing things possible, or would I have to register my business account and name in the UK to sell there??

I would ideally like to avoid paying unnecessary taxes in the UK.

Any helpful advice would be great,

    cheers,

    Matt

Yes you can. You'll just be an overseas business owner who makes trips to the UK. Might want to check on what the tax implications are though for you as a british expat in HK.
