    He caused an upheavel in the oil market and losses up to $US9,763,252, in his drunken stupor and yet let off with just GBP72000 fine.

    He was also banned from trading for five years. He is very unlikely to work in the industry again.

    Reminded me of a contractor I used to work with in the late 80's, whos daughter was working for a hedge fund in the City ( of London ).

    She lost 16 mil GBP on a series of trades on one trading day. The boss didn't bat an eyelid and just said " we'll make it back tomorrow ". The girl resigned and had a melt down. Seems the oil boys are all a bunch of pussies. I mean, 9 mil USD is a night in a pole dancing club for " normal " traders.

    Love the bit at the end about financial hardship. Downgrade the Ferrari to a Boxter.
