    Refinancing Aussie Property in HKD

    hi guys,

i'm looking to refinance my aussie property into HKD. the only place i can find to do it is NAB and ANZ (aussie banks) but they both don't seem to have offset accounts.

anyone have any better luck finding a lender in HK who will loan in HKD and provide an offset account? i need it for aussie tax reasons.

    thx!

You might want to drop the folks over at ipac a line ( ipac financial planning ). They seem to be involved in all things money .. and all things australian and might have some more suggestions.

i haven't had time to contact ipac yet so if u hear anything let me know.

anz and nab charge about 1% above HIBOR.

    thanks alot.
by the way, HSBC also does it, but you have to be a premier client: i.e. borrowing at least 500K AUD or have 200k aud in savings.
