    Thank you Mr Hindsight.

Any tips on what stocks I should have purchased in 2012?

Although hindsight is a wonderful thing (and by the way that H+0.7 mortgage rate was being offered right through into 2011) it shows that there are windows of opportunity which ought to be taken when they are available, assuming one is in a position to make them. The trouble was that during that offer period bears were saying don't buy there is a correction on the way, so not everybody who could, did jump in. The problem now is that it feels as if all the windows are being closed. It might be a long wait. But you can bet the family silver on some wailing 'don't do it!', whatever the circumstances.

Isn't there an option just to pay the penalty depending on the time left within the remaining period?
